RIT Dyeworks beautifully on many washable fabrics including:

• Natural fibers,such as cotton, wool, silk, and linen
• Synthetics such as rayon, nylon, and acetate
• NOT Recommended for 100% polyester, 100% acrylic or fabrics with special finishes

Blends will tint evenly but will not achieve full color. One package dyes 1 pound dry weight or about 3 yards medium weight fabric to a light or medium color. Use Double the quantity of dye for dark or bright colors. For maximum coverage, use the washing machine technique. Use the stove-top technique for best color results when dyeing with Black dye or other dark colors. Great for tie-dye techniques, and can be brushed or rubbed onto wood projects for staining or stenciling. Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval
